Vena folk museum

Vena folk museum consists of different buildings moved from the area. The houses can help us today to understand what life was like for people who lived in the past. There are older types of residential buildings and various stables from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. A barn for processing flax was used in the farming community (when) making their own fabric from linen. The loft was one of the farm’s most important buildings because food grown on the farm was stored here. The folk museum was inaugurated in 1939. Next to its park is a typical soccer field from 1941, Ekensved.
