Slättemossa is the only place in Sweden where you can see the unique so called Klotgranite. The globe like rock formations are named after their unusual shape. The last ice ages ice blocks 10,000 years ago ground the rock so that you can see the spheres in cross section. Klotgranit has been found in over a hundred places around the world, but only in one place in Sweden! At Järeda cemetery there is a block of granite that has been cut through and polished.
